Braxton is an ISTJ personality type. When she says she’s going to get something done, it’s already finished. She maintains a fine relationship with details and operates on facts and logic, always delivering on what’s promised with the most accuracy and precision.

Braxton can often come off very harsh and blunt, but honesty far outweighs emotional considerations to her. This often makes her feel cold and robotic, but it’s simply how she processes the world and believes we’re better when we face the honest to God truth. She often struggles with expressing emotion or affection, but the suggestion that she doesn’t feel at all is incredibly hurtful to her, especially now that she has a son.

She keeps her opinions to herself and lets the facts do the talking. The world is very black and white to her. Either something is true or it’s false; right or wrong; good or bad. Data is very cut-and-dry, and considering she runs off of it 24/7 she’s become a champion of its crystal clear, no-BS delivery when it comes to the hard, cold truth.

Braxton almost always appears to be quiet. She won’t speak much initially, but she is an observer—a wandering eye and ear in new situations and scenarios desiring to sniff out the truth about the people she’s chosen to surround herself with. She’ll talk when she’s drawn her conclusions and move from there.

Source of Powers

Like most posthumans, the abilities are stemmed from deeply-embedded subconscious beliefs and/or fears of the individual. From the time she was 8, Braxton was groomed to be a weapon. Told repeatedly that she was a weapon, that she had to fight, and her purpose in life was to serve her sisterhood by fighting, that primal, subconscious belief that she’s a weapon unlocked and manifested her posthuman abilities listed below.

Braxton turns melee and combat into a thing of beauty. Her abilities grant her permission to weave together several forms of martial arts and styles, creating an elegant and poetic grace in her movements, poise and posture upon execution.

Superhuman Abilities

Adoptive Muscle Memory: Braxton can perform any movement/action after viewing it once. From martial arts, to physical quirks to impersonate, to handling different weaponry. Whatever she chooses to replicate, all she needs is a single view.

“The Red” (Spatial Awareness): Braxton has a remarkable sense of geometry and trigonometry, observing objects around herself and the relationships found between angles, surfaces and objects. This awards her uncanny precision and accuracy, giving her almost complete control of trajectory and impact.

Braxton’s mind has full 360 degree spatial awareness and is not limited by what she sees in front of her. Using all of her senses and the advanced processing abilities of her mind, she can predict how big a room is to the nearest square inch, she can mentally map out an area around her within a matter of seconds, letting her know what’s around her and in addition she can use it to track objects and people of interest, able to predict where they are and where they might be going.

The reason why her perception is broken down into simple colors and shapes is so that she can process the information she’s receiving faster and without overloading her mind.

Abilities

High-Level Combatant: Braxton has been trained since the age of 8 to fight. Even without her adoptive muscle memory, combat has become a piece of her she will never get rid of.

Strategist: Braxton’s unique perspective of the world and her logic-driven mindset enables her to put together strategies that simply win.

Limited Memory: Though she’s able to retain a lot, she cannot hold onto every new skill or piece of information without risking her treasured memories that keep and make her human. Her son’s first steps, memories of her past, memories of her mother and so forth are all at risk if she absorbs too much and doesn’t “clear her head” routinely.

Salt Baths: Braxton must routinely submerge herself in salt baths to remove any new information or skills learned that aren’t essential. This bath must be in a room void of light and sound.

Braxton can turn a soda can or a trash lid into something lethal if need be. She doesn’t carry many physical weapons on her person, but is able to use the terrain and objects that litter it to her advantage as she sees fit.

Braxton’s uniform comes equipped with special gadgetry. One of the most notable are her projectile grappling hooks from a compartment in her shoulders as seen in Mini Issue #2 – Rules of the Game.
